04.01.25 - Toho Water Authority (Toho) is announcing that once service is restored, a precautionary boil water advisory will be in effect for customers located on Plaza Drive.

Toho Water Authority to host community meetings on fluoride

Kissimmee, FL – Toho Water Authority (Toho) invites customers to participate in a series of community engagement meetings to discuss supplemental fluoride in its water supplies. With growing national and state-level conversations about water additives, Toho is committed to hearing directly from its customers on this important topic.

Jones Road area flushing activities

Toho Water Authority (Toho) will be conducting flushing activities north of Jones Road between Preston Cove Drive and Wetlands Place starting at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 31 (see map below). 

The work is expected to be completed by 1 p.m. Schedules could vary due to weather and unforeseen circumstances. 

System flushing involves releasing water from either fire hydrants or automatic flushing devices on the distribution system. 

Will I notice a change in my water during the flushing activities?

Partin Settlement Road area water main break

Customers in the Partin Settlement Road area may be experiencing low to no water pressure. This is due to a water main break. A timeframe for service restoration is yet to be determined. 

Congressman Soto check presentation

Please be advised that Tohopekaliga Water Authority, an independent special district, established and created pursuant to Chapter 189, Florida Statutes, by special act of the Florida Legislature (“Toho”), has scheduled a Check Presentation with Congressman Soto, to take place on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM. 

Blue Hesper Drive road area closure

Toho Water Authority is announcing a road closure in the area of Blue Hesper Drive and Bermuda Lakes Lane starting on February 24 for a sewer project. 

The project is expected to be completed in about a week. Please be advised that construction schedules may change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances. Access will be provided for local traffic and emergency services. The project is designed to upgrade the sewer facilities in the area. Please see more details below. 

Pine Lake Estates water line project

Update 04.03.25 - The water line project is now expected to be completed by May 1 for Phase 1 (Pine Lake Drive, Sequoia Circle, and 17th Street) and July 1 for Phase 2 (Avocado Street, Hemlock Street, Ponderosa Drive, and Chestnut Street).

Harmony area: Temporary water treatment change

Beginning February 3, 2025, Toho Water (Toho) will temporarily switch the disinfectant in your public water system from chloramines to free chlorine for routine maintenance of water quality in the distribution system. The documents section on this page includes the notice mailed to customers. 

Tohoqua community reclaimed water service interruption

Toho Water Authority customers in the Tohoqua community may experience an interruption of reclaimed water service on their irrigation systems. This is due to area construction impacting services. Service is expected to be restored by Friday, January 24.
