Lake Marion Water Reclamation Facility Upgrades

Lake Marion Water Reclamation Facility

Protecting Our Local Lakes & Investing in Our Shared Future

At Toho, protecting our vibrant local environment is at the heart of everything we do. We’re excited to announce upcoming effluent water treatment upgrades and facility improvements at our Lake Marion Water Reclamation Facility! This is a major step forward in keeping our local waterways clean, healthy, and beautiful for generations to come.

This project goes beyond just meeting new standards—it’s about being good stewards of the beautiful lakes and ecosystems we all call home.

What This Project Brings to Our Community:

  • Healthier Waterways & Wildlife: We are upgrading our 3 million-gallon-per-day treatment process to significantly lower nitrogen and phosphorus levels. Reducing these nutrients helps protect Lake Marion and nearby natural habitats, keeping our water ecosystems balanced and flourishing in line with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s latest guidelines.
  • Long-Term Reliability: We’re investing in key operational enhancements across the facility so it continues running smoothly, efficiently, and dependably every single day.
  • A Greener Tomorrow: By continuously upgrading our facilities, we ensure our infrastructure grows stronger while keeping our commitment to environmental sustainability.
