Investing in Our Community’s Water Future
Because Toho cares, we’re continually working to ensure our growing community will have safe, reliable water for years to come. That’s why we’re excited to share our progress on the Shingle Creek Pump Station Rehab and Surface Water Treatment Facility project.
This two-phased effort will boost our daily water supply and, eventually, carefully treat water directly from Shingle Creek to make it the best drinking water possible. Once fully complete, the facility will be able to supply up to six million gallons of clean water every day.
Where We Are in the Process
Phase 1: Boosting Capacity Right Away
We’re starting by replacing three existing pumps at the intake station. This essential update ensures more reclaimed water is readily available for our community's daily needs.
Phase 2: Looking Ahead
Currently in the planning stage, this phase will focus on constructing the full treatment facility so we can turn local surface water into high-quality tap water.
