Cypress Lake Alternative Water Supply
To ensure that our community always has a reliable supply of clean, delicious water, Toho is partnering on an innovative new project: tapping into the Lower Floridan Aquifer. Along with new wells that will reach this abundant water source that's over 1,500 feet below ground, Toho is building a reverse osmosis water treatment facility that will eventually supply superior drinking water for approximately 350,000 people daily in the Central Florida region.
Toho Reservoir and Water Treatment Facility
The Toho Reservoir and Water Treatment Facility project is a comprehensive joint effort between Toho and Osceola County to capture stormwater, reduce flooding, improve water quality in lakes, and provide alternative water supply to support the county.
Water from the reservoir will be treated to produce a new water supply for irrigation and possibly, even meet future drinking water needs. The water treatment facility will only treat water from the reservoir.
Buenaventura Lakes Water Treatment Facility Upgrades
The Buenaventura Lakes Water Treatment Facility is being upgraded to help maintain long-term service to our customers and provide them with the highest-quality and best-tasting water.
