Lindfields and Grand Palms Condo flushing activities

Toho Water Authority (Toho) is conducting closed-circuit flushing activities in the Lindfields and Grand Palms Condo areas (see map below). This is to enhance water appearance, odor, taste and quality.

The flushing activities will take place Monday- Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The activities are expected to be completed by October 1. Schedules could vary due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.

Closed-circuit flushing involves pumping water though a mobile filter system between fire hydrants. This type of flushing eliminates the need to discharge water from the hydrants maintaining water pressures in the area. Area residents may see piping connected to fire hydrants. Will I notice a change in my water during the flushing activities?

Customers are not expected to experience water discoloration, odor and sediment during the activities. Should this occur, running a cold and a hot water tap for 15 to 20 minutes should clear out the water lines within the home. If the problem persists, please contact our Customer Service at 407-944-5000.

Can I consume the water?

Yes, the water meets all state and federal regulations.
