Backflow service update
Due to the recent unprecedented weather event for our area, residential customers may be experiencing backflow-related issues affected by the freeze. Toho crews are actively responding. Response times may be impacted due to the unusually high demand for service.
To help address these issues as quickly as possible, we have enlisted the assistance of outside contractors.
Lifted: N. Palm Avenue and W. Oak Street precautionary boil water advisory
02.06.26 -The precautionary boil water advisory has been lifted. Customers are no longer advised to boil their water prior to consumption. Water filters do not need to be cleaned or replaced.

02.05.26 - The precautionary boil water advisory remains in effect. Additional regulatory testing is taking place to make sure the water meets drinking water standards. An update will be provided by Friday, February 6.

Update: West Vine Street/192 lane reopened
1.29.26 @ 8:57 p.m. - Road and area restoration work have been completed. The outside eastbound lane on West Vine Street/192, between Armstrong Boulevard and Dyer Boulevard, has been reopened.

Toho Water Authority (Toho) is announcing an outside eastbound lane shift on West Vine Street/192 between Armstrong Boulevard and Dyer Boulevard relating to a water line repair (please see map below).
Update: Freeze warning - Protect your pipes during extreme cold
2.1.26 - We’re already experiencing below-freezing temperatures across Central Florida, and we know many customers are worried about outdoor pipes and water systems or have already experienced issues.
Here’s what makes sense right now, based on what our crews are seeing in the field.
Protecting Backflow Preventers
Backflow preventers are one of the most common failure points during freezes, and we are responding to many calls related to these devices. Please see below for an image of a backflow preventer.
Lifted: W Cherry Street area precautionary boil water advisory
02.04.26 - The precautionary boil water advisory has been lifted. Customers are no longer advised to boil their water prior to consumption. Water filters do not need to be cleaned or replaced.

01.29.26 - Toho Water Authority (Toho) customers located at 1602 and 1608 W Cherry Street will experience a disruption of their water service starting at 12 p.m. (noon) on Monday, February 2.

02.04.26 - The precautionary boil water advisory has been lifted. Customers are no longer advised to boil their water prior to consumption. Water filters do not need to be cleaned or replaced.

01.29.26 - Toho Water Authority (Toho) customers located at 1614 Orange Street and 1203 N. Palm Avenue will experience a disruption of their water service starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, February 2.
Service restored: Florida Parkway area service disruption
1.27.26 @ 3:15 p.m. - Service has been restored.

Customers in the Florida Parkway area in Kissimmee may be experiencing disruptions to service or low water pressure.
This includes customers on Florida Parkway between Dorothy Lane and Valencia Avenue as well as customers on Temple Way and those on Citrus Drive between Dorothy Lane and Temple Way.
A timeframe for service restoration is yet to be determined. Crews are onsite and more information will provided as it becomes available.

01.24.26 - The precautionary boil water advisory has been lifted. Customers are no longer advised to boil their water prior to consumption. Water filters do not need to be cleaned or replaced.

Toho offices closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Toho's offices in Kissimmee and St. Cloud will be closed on Monday, January 19 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Regular business hours will resume at 8 a.m. Tuesday, January 20.
