Botanic Boulevard road closure

Update 02.04.26 - The sewer rehabilitation work is expected to be completed this week. The road area is expected to reopen by next week, Friday, February 13, when the paving restoration is complete. Schedules could vary according to weather and other unforeseen circumstances.

Understanding your water bill: new rates take effect

Toho Water Authority's new water and wastewater rates went into effect on October 1, 2025, and will be reflected in upcoming customer bills. This rate adjustment applies to water, wastewater, irrigation, and reclaimed water services.  

Hickory Tree Road area water line installation project

Toho is announcing a water line installation project along Hickory Tree Road between Nolte Road and US 192 (please see map below).

The project is scheduled to get underway in early September and is expected to be completed by June 2026 along with area restoration. Work will take place Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Schedules could vary according to weather and other unforeseen circumstances.

Toho Water Authority (Toho) is committed to protecting our customers from fraudulent activity. Please be aware of ongoing scams falsely claiming to represent utility companies.

Marigold Avenue new sewer line project

12.23.25 - Due to a conflicting utility line discovered in the area, the installation method for the new sewer line needs to be revised. The revised installation method is still anticipated to utilize trenchless construction to minimize impact to the area and traffic. A timeline for the revised project is expected to be finalized in the new year.

Majestic Oaks survey activities

Toho Water Authority has selected consultant Dewberry Engineers, Inc. to begin planning the replacement of the current 4-inch water line with a larger 6- or 8-inch line. This upgrade will enhance water service and provide improved fire protection for the Majestic Oaks community.

Buenaventura Lakes water treatment facility upgrades

The Buenaventura Lakes water treatment facility is currently being upgraded to improve the long-term operations of the facility and enhance water quality. Improvements will also be made to reduce flooding at the facility caused by heavy rains. 

The project is expected to be completed by the fall of 2026. Most work takes place during normal working hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There may be instances of night-time work. Schedules could change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.

The Oaks subdivision sewer improvements project

Toho Water Authority (Toho) is performing critical improvements to the sewer system in The Oaks subdivision. These infrastructure upgrades are essential to maintaining reliable wastewater service in your community.

The improvements are underway and are expected to be completed by the end of November 2025 along with area restoration. Schedules may change to weather and unforeseen circumstances. Please see tentative schedule and details below. 

Lavon and Palm Avenue water line project

02.06.26 - The project is nearing completion. Area restoration is expected to get underway mid-February and be completed by the beginning of March.
