Toho Water earns multiple Top Workplaces honors in 2026

Toho Water Authority (Toho) continues to earn recognition as a leading employer, receiving multiple regional and national Top Workplace honors in 2026, including awards for workplace culture and professional development.

Most recently, Toho was named a Top Workplace by the Orlando Sentinel Media Group for the second consecutive year and fourth time overall. Recognized in the large organization category, Toho was among 134 Central Florida employers selected for the 2026 award. The utility previously earned the distinction in 2021 and 2022.

The regional recognition follows national honors from USA TODAY, which named Toho a 2026 Top Workplace and one of the nation's Best Energy & Utilities Top Workplaces. Toho was one of just 25 organizations nationwide to receive the industry-specific award and one of only two Florida employers selected. The national recognition was awarded in the midsize organization category, representing employers with 500 to 999 employees.

Adding to those achievements, Toho also earned two 2026 Top Workplaces Culture Excellence Awards, one for Employee Well-Being and another for Professional Development, recognizing its commitment to employee growth, learning and career advancement.

The Top Workplaces awards are based on confidential employee feedback collected through the Energage Workplace Survey, which evaluates workplace culture, leadership, engagement and the employee experience. The program has recognized organizations for building strong workplace cultures for more than two decades.
