Toho Water Authority encourages customers to save water and money through Toilet Rebate Program

Toho Water Authority (Toho) is inviting residential and commercial customers to take advantage of its Toilet Rebate Program, an initiative designed to help save money and conserve water through the replacement of older, inefficient toilets.
Homes built before 1996 may qualify for a $100 rebate per toilet, credited directly to the customer’s water bill, when replacing older toilets with high-efficiency models using 1.28 gallons per flush or less. Residential customers are eligible for rebates on up to two toilets per property, while commercial properties can apply for rebates on up to 100 toilets.
For commercial customers, the program offers a unique opportunity to significantly reduce operating costs and improve water efficiency—benefits that can add up quickly in larger buildings or multi-unit properties.
“By switching to high-efficiency toilets, customers not only lower their water bills but also contribute to the long-term sustainability of our community’s water resources,” said Rodney Tilley, Toho’s Environmental Supervisor. “This is an easy and effective way for customers to make a positive environmental impact.”
The Toilet Rebate Program runs through early 2026, but funding is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Customers are encouraged to apply early.
