Thacker Avenue closure and Storey Lake Boulevard lift station activity

Toho Water (Toho) is announcing the closure of N. Thacker Avenue between Ball Park Road and Osceola Parkway starting at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4 (please see map below). The closure is necessary to conduct a sewer project in the area.

The road is expected to reopen by 6 a.m. on Thursday, November 5.  Schedules could vary according to weather and other unforeseen circumstances.

Storey Lake Boulevard area lift station activity

While the project is underway, pump trucks will be stationed on Windermere Avenue to transport the excess wastewater from the area’s sewer lift station (please see map below). This is necessary to maintain continuous sewer service to the area.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution when approaching these areas, as workers, trucks and construction equipment will be present. Speed limits may be reduced, sidewalks possibly closed, and foot traffic diverted. Signage will be in place to keep the traveling public informed of the project.
