Road closure on 16th Street and lane shift on Vermont Avenue

A road closure is in effect for 16th Street in St. Cloud. In addition, there is a lane shift in the northbound lane of Vermont Avenue (see map below). The closure and lane shift are necessary to conduct water line repairs. 

An estimated time of completion has yet to be determined. Schedules could vary according to weather and other unforeseen circumstances. 

Access will be provided for local traffic and emergency services.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution when approaching this area, as workers and construction equipment will be present. Speed limits may be reduced, sidewalks possibly closed, and foot traffic diverted. Signage will be in place to keep the traveling public informed of the project.
