Old Lake Wilson Road and Champions Gate area flushing

In an effort to improve water quality, Toho Water Authority (Toho) will be carrying out data gathering in the Old Lake Wilson Road and Champions Gate areas (please see maps). This will require flushing the water lines. Flushing involves releasing water from either fire hydrants or automatic flushing devices on Toho’s distribution system.

Work areas

  • Northern Old Lake Wilson Road area - Wolcott Lane, Magic Tree Drive, Morgan-Williams Road, Funie Steed Road, Maingate Lane, High Point Boulevard, Reedy Creek Boulevard areas
  • Central Old Lake Wilson Road area - Sand Hill Road and Sinclair Road areas
  • Southwest area - Masters Boulevard, Goodman Road, Champions Gate, Active Way, Reunion Village Boulevard, Reunion Boulevard, Heritage Crossing Way and Excitement Drive areas

The purpose of the data gathering is to pinpoint what’s affecting water quality in the area and to devise a more long-lasting solution.

The flushing activities will take place Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Monday, April 13. They are expected to be completed by April 24. Schedules could vary due to weather and unforeseen circumstances. Please see more information below.
