Majestic Oaks survey activities

Toho Water Authority has selected consultant Dewberry Engineers, Inc. to begin planning the replacement of the current 4-inch water line with a larger 6- or 8-inch line. This upgrade will enhance water service and provide improved fire protection for the Majestic Oaks community.

We are now in the preliminary design phase for the project along Majestic Oaks Drive, from Boggy Creek Road to Majestic Island Circle. Over the next three months, residents in the community may notice survey crews, utility locators, and geotechnical teams in the area. Their work will include locating existing utilities and collecting soil samples near and around Majestic Oaks Drive. This information is an important step in designing the project properly.

Data collection is expected to be completed within 120 days, though you may see crews come and go during this time. Work hours will generally be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. No overnight or weekend activity is anticipated. Please note that weather or unexpected conditions may occasionally cause delays or extend the data collection period. A timeframe for the service upgrade project is yet to be determined.
