Lions Court area planned service disruption and precautionary boil water advisory

Toho Water (Toho) customers located at the following addresses will experience a disruption of their water service starting at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 24 (see map below):

  • 1410, 1414, 1416, 1418, 1420, 1422, 1424, 1426, 1428 and 1479 E Osceola Pkwy
  • 3008, 3020, 3030, 3031, 3040, 3050, 3051, 3055, 3075 and 30621 Lions Ct
  • 1424 Ridge St

This interruption of service is necessary to work on a fire water line in the area. Service is expected to be restored by 12 p.m. Schedules could change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.

Once service is restored a precautionary boil water advisory will go into effect until rescinded by Toho.

As a precautionary measure, customers are advised to boil their water for one minute prior to consumption (drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes). This includes filtered water. As an alternative bottled water may be used. Water used for laundry or bathing/showering does not need to be boiled.

Once service is restored, a two-day minimum of regulatory testing is required to make sure the water meets drinking water standards. An update will be provided by Monday, October 26.
