7601 – 7627 Heritage Crossing Way service disruption and precautionary boil water advisory

Toho Water Authority (Toho) customers located at 7601 – 7627 Heritage Crossing Way will experience a disruption of their water service starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, August 31.

This interruption of service is necessary to replace a valve on a water line in the area. Service is expected to be restored by 1 p.m. Schedules could change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.

Once service is restored a precautionary boil water advisory will go into effect until rescinded by Toho.

As a precautionary measure, customers are advised to boil their water for one minute prior to consumption (drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes). This includes filtered water. As an alternative bottled water may be used. Water used for laundry or bathing/showering does not need to be boiled.

Once service is restored, a two-day minimum of regulatory testing is required to make sure the water meets drinking water standardsAn update will be provided by Wednesday, September 2.
