Solivita community backflow replacement project
05.07.26 - The backflow replacement project has resumed in the Solivita community. The project is expected to be completed by August 2026. Schedules may change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.

Hickory Tree Road area water line installation project
Toho is announcing a water line installation project along Hickory Tree Road between Nolte Road and US 192 (please see map below).
The project is scheduled to get underway in early September and is expected to be completed by June 2026 along with area restoration. Work will take place Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Schedules could vary according to weather and other unforeseen circumstances.
Marigold Avenue new sewer line project
05.07.26 -The revised installation method is culminating its design phase. Permitting and material procurement is currently underway. Currently, the project is expected to resume by August 2026 and be completed by the end of the year. More details will be issued when they come available.

Majestic Oaks survey activities
Toho Water Authority has selected consultant Dewberry Engineers, Inc. to begin planning the replacement of the current 4-inch water line with a larger 6- or 8-inch line. This upgrade will enhance water service and provide improved fire protection for the Majestic Oaks community.
Buenaventura Lakes water treatment facility upgrades
The Buenaventura Lakes water treatment facility is currently being upgraded to improve the long-term operations of the facility and enhance water quality. Improvements will also be made to reduce flooding at the facility caused by heavy rains.
The project is expected to be completed by the fall of 2026. Most work takes place during normal working hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There may be instances of night-time work. Schedules could change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
Shingle Creek surface water treatment facility project
The Shingle Creek Surface Water Treatment Facility project will utilize water from Shingle Creek and treat it to drinking water standards. Once completed, the facility will have the capacity to treat six million gallons per day. The preliminary design including the pilot study of the treatment processes for the facility has been completed. Final design and permitting of the facility will start in the near future. The facility is expected to be operational by early 2027.
Toho reservoir and water treatment facility
The Toho Reservoir and Water Treatment Facility project is a comprehensive joint effort between Toho and Osceola County to capture stormwater, reduce flooding, improve water quality in lakes, and provide alternative water supply to support the county.
Water from the reservoir will be treated to produce a new water supply for irrigation and possibly, even meet future drinking water needs. The water treatment facility will only treat water from the reservoir.
Cypress Lake alternative water supply
Toho Water Authority along with its partners will use brackish water from the Lower Floridan Aquifer as an alternative water supply to meet future demands for the Central Florida region. When completed, the reverse osmosis water treatment facility will provide potable water for approximately 350,000 people daily in the Central Florida region.
Reaves Rd and Big Island bypass
05.07.26 - Funding has been secured for the sewer rehabilitation project. The bid preparation process for the project will begin. Once a contractor is secured, the project is expected to break ground by December 2026. Project details will be issued when they come available closer to the start date.
