Lifted: Twelve Oaks Road area precautionary boil water advisory

Thursday, July 31 - The precautionary boil water advisory has been lifted. Customers are no longer advised to boil their water prior to consumption.

Kissimmee, Florida - Toho Water Authority (Toho) is announcing that a precautionary boil water advisory is in effect for customers located in the Twelve Oaks Road area. Customers on the following streets are within the advisory area (see map below.)

  • Tassleflower Trail
  • Arbor Green Trail
  • Mistflower Drive
  • Spring Moss Court
  • Spoonflower Court
  • Idlewood Drive
  • Teal Creek Drive
  • Kildare Place
  • Stone Ridge Place
  • Quillback Lane
  • Firestone Alley
  • Goldfinch Drive
  • Edenmore Street
  • Bowspirit Way
  • Ladyfish Trail
  • Dominion Alley
  • Top Minnow Lane
  • Hackney Road
  • Lost Key Place
  • Butterfish Place
  • Wood Sage Trace
  • Linn Peak Trace

This is due to a contractor error. Service has been restored. The precautionary boil water advisory will be in effect until lifted by Toho. 

As a precautionary measure, customers are advised to boil their water for one minute prior to consumption (drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes). As an alternative bottled water may be used. Water used for laundry or bathing/showering does not need to be boiled. Food industry guidelines are located in the documents section on this page.

Regulatory testing will take place to make sure the water meets drinking water standards. An advisory status update will be provided by Thursday, July 31.
