Lifted: Harmony area precautionary boil water advisory

10.01.25 - The advisory has been lifted. Customers are no longer advised to boil their water prior to consumption.

###

09.29.25 - Toho Water Authority (Toho) has issued a precautionary boil water advisory for customers in the Harmony, Amera Trail, and Bay Lake Estates area (see map below).

This is due to a vehicle striking and damaging a fire hydrant, resulting in a loss of pressure. Toho is further reviewing this incident.

The precautionary boil water advisory, which is in effect for all portions of the Harmony area including Harmony Main, Harmony Isle, the Lakes at Harmony, Harmony West, Pine Glen, Bay Lake Estates, and the Amera Trail area, will be in effect until lifted by Toho.

As a precautionary measure, customers are advised to boil their water for one minute prior to consumption (drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes). As an alternative bottled water may be used. Water used for laundry or bathing/showering does not need to be boiled.

A two-day minimum of regulatory testing is required to make sure the water meets drinking water standards. An update will be provided by Wednesday, October 1.

For more information, contact Toho’s customer service at 407-944-5000.
