Guidelines

Participants must be Toho Water Authority residential or commercial customers who have toilets that were installed prior to 1996. Participants are responsible for purchasing and installing the new toilets and disposing of the old ones. 

How many toilets can I replace?

  • Residential customers: 2 toilets
  • Commercial customers: 100 toilets

First: Request a confirmation number

Participants must first request a confirmation number. A confirmation number will ensure reservation of funds but does not guarantee rebate. If you qualify, we will email you a confirmation number and the Toilet Rebate application link to complete the toilet rebate and upload receipts and verifying labels.

Second: Submit for your toilet rebate

  • Once you receive your confirmation number, you will have 30 days to complete the Toilet Rebate application providing receipts and photos that show the brand, model number and gallons per flush. Commercial customers requesting more than 20 toilets will have 90 days to complete the Toilet Rebate application.
  • Replacement toilets must be 1.28 gpf (gallons per flush) or less.
  • Each qualifying toilet will be eligible for a $100 rebate. The rebate will appear as a credit on your water bill.
