Southwest Water Treatment Plant Upgrades

Southwest Water Treatment Plant

Always Improving the Best Water

We’re excited to announce upcoming improvements to the Southwest Water Treatment Plant! These upgrades will enhance overall operations, boost system reliability, and continue delivering high-quality drinking water to our community. As part of this project, we are installing an advanced forced-draft aeration system to effectively remove hydrogen sulfide (that slight rotten egg smell) along with a modern odor control system.

How These Improvements Support Our Community:

  • Advanced Water Treatment: Installation of a forced-draft aeration system to more effectively treat hydrogen sulfide
  • Odor Control: A new odor control system to keep the surrounding area fresh and pleasant.
