BAREFOOT PATH

​Temporary road closure to thru traffic on Barefoot Path​

Toho Water Authority has temporarily closed a section of Barefoot Path near Polynesian Isle Blvd. (please see map​). The closure is necessary to conduct repairs on a sewer line in the area. 

A timeline for the repairs will be issued once the assessment has been completed. 

Signage is in place to keep the traveling public informed of the project. Motorists are urged to use caution when approaching these areas, as workers will be present and speed limits may be reduced in certain areas.

Schedules could vary according to weather and other unforeseen circumstances.

Update: January 14, 2020

The outside southbound lane on Polynesian Isle Blvd. is temporary closed near Barefoot Path. The closure is necessary to conduct an assessment for the upcoming sewer repair project in the area. The lane is expected to reopen in four weeks. Schedules could vary according to weather and other unforeseen circumstances. 

Once the assessment is complete a timeframe for the sewer repair project will be determined.

Update: February 27, 2020

The assessment has been completed and the sewer repair project is underway on Barefoot Path. The project is expected to be completed and Barefoot Path reopened by the end of March 2020. As an added precaution the outside southbound lane on Polynesian Isle Blvd near Barefoot Path will also remain closed until the sewer repair project is completed.
