Bruce R. Van Meter, Chairperson

Bruce R. Van Meter, Board Supervisor 5, is Chairperson. This position is approved by both City of Kissimmee and Osceola County Commissioners. Mr. Van Meter (Retired) was Chief Financial Officer of 20/20 Media Holdings, Inc. in charge of financial reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable and human resources. Mr. Van Meter graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science degree and brings 40 years of experience in the areas of retail management, finance and human resources. Mr. Van Meter served as a City of Kissimmee Commissioner from 1980-87 and served as the City's Mayor from 1987-1990. He served from 1985 to 1987 as the founding Board Chairman of Kissimmee Utility Authority, which operates the City’s electric utility, and as Ex-officio Board Member/Mayor 1987-90.

Tom E. White, Vice-Chair

Thomas E. White is currently Senior Vice President and Osceola County Executive for the Florida Traditions Bank. Mr. White has over 25 years of banking experience in the Osceola area.  Mr. White graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1977 with a business degree in Marketing. He also graduated from the School of Banking of the South at Louisiana State University in 1983. Mr. White is a former Chairman of the Kissimmee/Osceola Chamber of Commerce, Osceola United Way and Junior Achievement. He is currently serving on the Board of Osceola Center for the Arts, Kissimmee/Osceola Chamber of Commerce and the Chairman of Team Osceola, a liaison to the Metro Economic Development Council. He is also a member of Kissimmee Bay Rotary Club.

Clarence Thacker

Clarence Thacker has over 25 years of business experience in educational publishing as leader of supply chain operations. As well as being a consultant of the educational publishing industry, he is the manager of a residential rental business. He has served on both Osceola County Commission and the City of Kissimmee Planning Advisory Board and was a Big Boss for the Silver Spurs Riding Club. Clarence is a lifelong resident of Osceola County and graduated from Wake Forest University in 1984 with a BS in Accountancy.

Wendell McKinnon

Wendell McKinnon has been self-employed in our business community for more than 28 years. He has served our area as a volunteer with the City of Kissimmee Planning Board, then as an elected official with the City of Kissimmee. His experience also includes serving with the Osceola Council on Aging, Osceola County Lake Advisory Board, MetroPlan Orlando Board, East Central Florida Regional Planning Council, State MPOAC Governing Board, Tri-County League of Cities, Florida League of Cities Board of Directors, Central Florida MPO Alliance and the Osceola County LCAB Board.

​Le Rue "Skip" Stellfox​  ​

Le Rue “Skip” Stellfox brings a blend of public and private employment experience to TWA, having successfully managed several personal transitions. His background includes experience as an educator, administrator, sales with Dow Chemical Company and consulting with organizations both large and small from a wide range of business sectors.

He has a history of serving the communities in which he has lived. He is past Vice Chair of the Polk County Housing Finance Authority and a Supervisor on the Poinciana Community Development District. He served as a Councilman in Verona, NJ where he oversaw the water and waste division.

Mr. Stellfox is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University where he lettered in football and graduated with a B. S. degree in Education with a major in Biology. After a teaching career, he joined a New York career-consulting firm, DBM and traveled extensively throughout the United States. He has counseled thousand of individuals and managed some of the largest and most visible downsizings and company restructurings in corporate America-Allied Chemical, Parke-Davis, Uniroyal, American Chicle and The Washington Star to name a few.

In 1986 he was selected as an Outstanding Alumni by The Pennsylvania State University College of Education.

John A. Lambert

John A. Lambert with over 34 years of engineering and senior management experience within the automotive, telecommunications, military defense, and citrus industries currently holds the position of Director-Global Logistics for a local Lake County Telecommunications company.

In addition to serving on the Tohopekaliga Water Authority Board of Supervisors, Mr. Lambert serves as an elected member of the Champions Gate CDD Board of Supervisors and has held the role of President of his Community Association since that Board’s inception. He is an active leader in community support and outreach and has played a vital role in founding his community’s annual holiday giving to families in need who would not otherwise enjoy a happy holiday season.

A passion for community and a deep commitment to those who comprise it, coupled with a dedication to the quality of life for all who live in Central Florida, are what inspire and motivate Mr. Lambert in his personal, professional, and most importantly; his civic life. As a resident of Central Florida for 25 years, his intent is to do all that he can to improve the quality of life for his fellow Floridians and to keep our natural resources as pristine and as beautiful as they were intended to be.
