METER INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS     
(SUBMIT ONE FORM PER SUBDIVISION/COMMUNITY)

  1. Address must be clearly marked on the permit box.
  2. Domestic and reclaimed water services (where available) must be exposed and accessible.
  3. Water and reclaimed water service area must be at or near final grade.
  4. Meter installation area must be free of trash, clutter, building material, debris or any other obstruction that would prevent meter installations.
  5. Service lines must be pressurized.
  6. Location of sidewalks and driveways must be clearly marked.
  7. Builder is responsible for silt barriers, meters, assemblies and boxes until home closing. Invoicing for damages due to neglect will be paid by the builder prior to release of the C.O.
  8. Home builder is responsible for adjustment of meter boxes to final grade.
  9. Service lines serving multi-family and multi-tenant commercial properties must be connected to water meter vault prior to meter request form being submitted.
  10. Builder installed irrigation systems will require a separate meter.
  11. If the meter can not be set because the meter setting has been damaged or altered a Failed Meter set Fee shall be assessed in the cases as follows:
  1. Single Family lots $100 per Visit
  2. Commercial and Multi- Family projects with 8 meters or less per building $100 for the first meter, $50 for second meter, $25 each of next six meters
  3. Commercial and Multi-Family projects with over 8 meters per building $300
